The Concerts for YOUth showcase the full scope of our cello, violin/viola, piano and chamber ensemble programs - from our youngest beginners and students in our community-partner school districts, to our most seasoned advanced students and professional faculty-artists.
Admission is free for all children as part of our mission to provide exposure and access to high quality musical instruction and performance opportunities. These concerts are free to children thanks to our generous donors. The Chamber Days Chamber Ensemble Concert and Master Class at the Symphony Center is free to everyone thanks to our wonderful community partnership with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Each concert is not only an opportunity for our students to perform, but they allow children in the audience to learn more about the instrument and a diverse body of musical repertoire. Ms. Lucinda has some magic tricks that can keep young kids interested in violin playing, keep them focused during the lesson, and encourage them to practice at home.

My son's love for music was deepened through the Hyde Park Suzuki Institute program! He was nurtured with loving and patient teachers who encouraged and motivated him. This is a highly recommended Institute and the director's vision for her students is simply Amazing! Also the parents are very supportive to one another as well as to each other's children...such an AWESOME village for thriving children!
