Twinkle Stars @ HPSI

Saturdays at 10:00, Maria Welch, Instructor

$160 fall, spring, winter terms
$110 summer term

Designed for children  ages 2½ to 5½, Twinkle Stars is a 12-week music and movement class (8 weeks during the summer term) in which children and their parents also “meet” musical instruments.  One week the cello makes an appearance, another week guitar, or piano, violin, viola, or double bass might make a visit.

The 50-minute class  is focused on musical elements that are foundational to learning an instrument.   Melody and rhythm are
explored  through movement and through song.  Fine motor skills, body awareness, and attention  are developed through finger plays and story.

Together with their  parent, children are invited to sing, move, participate in music, and to  begin learning some of the songs that will later be taught in Suzuki instrument instruction.

$160
