Hello Cello In-School Outreach Program
In the 2018-2019 school year, the Hyde Park Suzuki Institute (HPSI) will be partnering with Chicagoland schools to provide the “Hello Cello” in-school outreach program. At HPSI, we design our outreach programs to ensure that outreach students have access to the same level of educational excellence that we provide at our main location. In this program, each student will receive two cello classes per week: a 60 minute in-school group lesson, in which instrumental technique is taught, and a 60-minute weekend group lesson, in which techniques are reinforced and the students learn to play together with their peers.
We are also excited to announce that award-winning cellist and HPSI alum Ifetayo Ali-Landing will be partnering with the program! We hope to serve as many schools as possible through the “Hello Cello” Program. If you would like the “Hello Cello” program at your school, please contact us for more information. |

Ms. Lucinda has some magic tricks that can keep young kids interested in violin playing, keep them focused during the lesson, and encourage them to practice at home.

My son's love for music was deepened through the Hyde Park Suzuki Institute program! He was nurtured with loving and patient teachers who encouraged and motivated him. This is a highly recommended Institute and the director's vision for her students is simply Amazing! Also the parents are very supportive to one another as well as to each other's children...such an AWESOME village for thriving children!
