Sharon Quigley, guitar

has been playing guitar for over 40 years. she has been in many bands as a rhythm guitarist and singer. She also dabbles on the banjo(5 strings), and the Bass Guitar.

Currently, Sharon teaches guitar and beginning piano to students in their homes near The Beverly, Evergreen Park area. She also has a couple of students in Hyde Park. She is also the guitar teacher at Horizon Music in Evergreen Park.

She taught guitar and beginning piano for 16 years at World Folk Music in the Beverly area. For the last 3 years Sharon played in the band "Blue Moon" which featured her on guitar, banjo, bass, and singing. She is currently in the duo "Quigley and Pech" which features Sharon on the guitar and lead vocals and Mike Pech on his 12 string guitar. 

Sharon has taught guitar and piano in the Chicago Public Schools CYC program.
